| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This is one of the best values in wire crates today. This crate has a third door on the top to allow easy access to your pet without them attempting to get out. It also has a metal pan that will not break after a year or so as plastic pans are prone to do. It is available in black and pink.

| Customer Reviews: poor quality crate November 17, 2009 TMN (Minnesota) I purchased this crate because it had a metal pan, as my dog with separation anxiety was chewing and breaking the plastic pans on other crates. This crate was very weak and my dog was easily able to break the welds and pull off the vertical bars from the crate and escape - he hasn't managed this with his other metal crate. The metal pan is also disappointing - it is a very thin sheet of metal that bends easily. My dog is actually able to make teeth marks in it and bend it, making it more dangerous than the plastic pans. The crate is also about an inch longer than other crates of this size - so the metal pan does not fit easily into the crate where my dog cannot remove the bars.
Even if your dog isn't an escape artist, beware - although I bought a 42" crate, the door opening on this crate is quite a bit lower than the top of the crate, to the point that I watched my dog carefully whenever he went into the crate to make sure he didn't hit his back on the top of the door, and he was much more hesitant to enter.
kennel with metal pan November 17, 2009 Avid Reader (Iowa, USA) This kennel is the perfect size for my dog. I really am glad that I purchased it. The only two quirks I have identified are that I believe my dog is slightly cold on the metal and that the metal is fairly loud. I am currently in the process of getting a mat or liner for either in the kennel or under it. Other than those, this is a great purchase!
It does the job October 13, 2009 TwiFan1016 (MN, USA) This was bought in a pinch as our puppy grew much faster than expected. The size and the price are great! I dislike the bottom pan being metal, my puppy does not like it even with towel down. We had a crate like this before with a plastic pan and had no trouble. I now have to buy the fleece pad to go in there. Also had to put a piece of card board underneath between pan and bottom of crate as it's very noisy when the puppy moves around. All around good buy for the price, but with quirks.
