Product Description Feliway (Comfort Zone) spray and diffusers prevent cats from urinating where they shouldn't. This fantastic new pheromone Feliway spray or diffuser duplicates the smell of a cat's natural scent glands. Cats will not soil anything close to where Feliway has been sprayed.Containing the synthetic scent hormone, the plug-in diffuser allows the Feliway scent to permeate throughout the environment. Each plug-in will cover an area of 50 to 70 square metres and lasts approximately four weeks. Alterations in the cat's environment such as visits to the vet, moving house, new arrivals, or nervous cats may manifest themselves as a change in behaviour such as urine marking, scratching, loss of appetite and refusal to play and interact. The diffuser helps to restore a feeling of calm in the cat. Early feedback on this product has been very positive, particularly for nervous cats.Contains one electric device and 48ml vial. NB: If cat urine marks several rooms (with total surface area of more than 70sq.m), use an additional diffuser in one of the other rooms which have been marked.

Not impressed--but two stars in case I did something wrong November 19, 2009 K. Hibbard-Baker Our eight week old kitten, Tally, has really stressed out our adult female SPAYED cat, Bella. (Spayed in caps for a reason. Female cats can spray even when spayed!) I bought the diffuser, luckily on sale, and put a lot of hope into it that it would stop Bella from marking our furniture and walls.
It has been two weeks and I have seen absolutely no change in Bella's behavior. She has even sniffed the diffuser (yes, it's plugged in) and then tried to spray. I'm glad that others have seen changes in their own cats due to this product, but I am not satisfied or convinced...
Worth the investment November 14, 2009 VeryVeraGirl 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I moved into a new house a few months ago. All was fine until some neighborhood cats started circling my house, causing my cat (who is an indoor-only cat, adopted on the condition that she be the only feline household resident) to frantically pounce from window to window, room to room, in a feeble attempt to fend off the would-be invader. She marked an air mattress and a folded-up comforter before setting her sights on my couch, which is nestled snuggly between two windows from which to monitor the whereabouts of her would-be nemesis. After the fur settled, I called my vet, who recommended the Feliway diffuser. Though there was no immediately noticeable difference, we led a pee-free existence until I forgot to replace the cartridge before it ran out. My sectional couch is now in pieces as I try again to get it smelling fresh. Needless to say, my first order of business tomorrow (after tending to the tainted couch) will be to procure a refill ASAP and will be stocking up for future use.

Feliway Plug-In Diffuser and Refill, 48mL
I have an older cat (16 yrs old) and within the last year inherited two younger cats (11 yrs old) and they decided to see who was going to claim the living room as their personal kitty box. Needless to say, very frustrating situation. I took the cats to the vet to make sure it wasn't a medical issue and then tried countless, recommended methods to stop this behavior - nothing!
I was told to try this product from several people and not to expect too much - but hey - but willing to try anything at any price!!!! BTW - Amazon was the lowest price and received free shipping. Within a week the cats quit going in the living room. The older cat is going in the laundry room where I keep the kitty box - not in the box - but I put down a few throw rugs and I just toss them in the laundry every day. As far as I'm concerned - CLOSE ENOUGH!!!
The aggression has calmed - to a point - and I'm not sure if they are just getting used to each other - or if this miracle product has helped that situation as well. Can't promise you will get the same results - but as far as I'm concerned - it's worth its weight in gold!!!
Good luck!

This product works great. I was concerned about how my 2 cats would react to a new dog in the house so I bought this product to create "comfort zones". The cats adapted to their new friend right away.
feliway November 1, 2009 Shari Au (Honolulu, HI) Great relaxation product in that I felt more relaxed and my cat seemed more relaxed despite continuing to hate the new cat, who chased my cat around the living room. So, feliway didn't eliminate territoriality or forestall a catfight but it reduced stress of either cat being chronically on edge. They were only on edge upon seeing or smelling one another.
