This product was perfect in the beginning but must have been defective since it stopped working properly (won't spray at all when she barks) after about a week of use. She hated the harmless spraying in her face. I thought it may have been a bad battery but replaced it and refilled the unit but it no longer works. I also had thrown away the paperwork and not sure how to return it since it was purchased through Amazon but they weren't the seller.

I have three dogs. A chihuahua terrier, miniature pinscher, and a queensland heeler. They are all great wonderful dogs but, my chihuahua and min pin bark non-stop all day long for absolutely no reason at all. I've tried almost everything and using the collar was my absolute last resort. I did some research and seeing that there was a lot of positive feedback for this product I purchased it. So far it has lived up to its reviews. Within minutes of putting this collar on one of my dogs I could see that this was going to be effective. He barked three times and has not barked since. I haven't even placed the collar on my other dogs because they haven't barked either! Most importantly my dog's self esteem does not seem effected. We still play and have a great time only there isn't any barking. I take the collar off at night and they still do not bark. I'm thinking within a few weeks my dog won't need it at all. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family who have noisy dogs.

Purchased this collar for a very barky dog which did nothing to alleviate the problem. He still barks and the citronella scent does not appear to bother him. The battery does last however, the casing cover does pop off easily.

I am very happy with this product. I don't use it for extended time simply b/c we have an electric fence. When it is in use, it is almost 100% effective (and gentle). We have noticed less barking when not in use.

I purchased two of these collars for my dogs as humane way to keep them from barking. I used the collars twice and one broke. Amazon sent me out a new collar and I used them again and the other collar broke. It is too bad they are so poorly made, because they did work. I can't believe both collars broke only after two or three uses. The collars did not get wet and the dogs were just out in my backyard. I would not waste your money on these. They need to improve the quality of them or charge 5.00 so you are not throwing away almost 40.00 on something that works for such a short period of time. Save your money and do not buy this cheap product.
