Sometimes the balls spill over for even more interactive, put-and-take play. Silly sound effects and eight upbeat tunes accompany the animated action. This toy provides one "air-mazing" experience for your little one. Measures 18" x 7" x 13". Requires 4 "D" batteries (not included).
Amazon.com Review The Playskool Explore and Grow Busy Ball Popper is a great put-and-take adventure for your infant or toddler. Designed for children ages nine months and up, the Busy Ball Popper will have your child popping the bright, colorful balls into a fun frenzy as they are air-popped out of the lower tube. The ball spinner/popper provides a fun sensorial experience, and includes fun, upbeat music to match the bright colorful characters.
Watch the fan pop the colorful balls into the air! View larger. | Colorful Balls that Spin and Pop in the Air The Busy Ball Popper is a one-piece toy that's made up of a removable ball trough, tube, and tray. When your child presses down on the big-eyed mushroom character on the Ball Popper, the balls move up the tube and pop out of the top, falling back into the tray to start the process all over again. The popper is made to withstand the rigors of your infant's play and can be easily cleaned with a damp towel. The plastic balls are large enough that you will not have to worry about them as choking hazards, but when your child is popping the balls, make sure to keep an eye out for balls as they can go off of the track occasionally. The popper also includes eight lively songs that start once you have pumped down the plunger to activate the ball-popping fan. Keep in mind that although the Busy Ball Popper is made out of a strong, durable plastic, it is fairly heavy and should be kept on a flat surface while being played to avoid any damage to your furniture. The toy also shuts itself off after a short period of time, but it is recommended to always turn it off manually for battery conservation. Great Sensorial, Put-and-take Work For Your Child This ball popper is a great toy for infants gaining gross motor skills, or for toddlers who are ready to chase the balls around the house and dance to the upbeat music. It is visually appealing with its bright, colorful balls and characters, and you never know where the balls may land, making it an exciting and new adventure each time. What's in the Box Ball popper base, plastic ball tray and lower trough, and five plastic balls. (Batteries are not included.)

Didn't like it at all November 18, 2009 M. Wietek (Marquette, MI) Got this as a gift. My daughter hated it from the first time we hit the button. It's very loud, and at 11 months she thought it was scary. She thought it was scary right up until we put it in the garage sale when she was 2.5. It also throws the balls everywhere so its more a toy for the parents as they continuously fish balls out from under furnature. She played with it a little once we pulled the batteries by dropping the balls in, watching them roll down, then tipping the thing over to dump them out. Its a better bet to buy a toy without batteries that is more interactive.
Fun Times! November 16, 2009 Coleen Lively Our baby loves this toy!! He laughs hysterically when the balls come flying up (and sometimes out) of the popper. I imagine it will keep him entertained for a long time as he can start chasing the balls himself once he is able to move around a bit more. Definitely a cute toy and was worth the price just to see him laugh himself silly.
Not for curious kids! November 13, 2009 Hester Prynne (Central Illinois) We purchased the older version of this toy brand-new at a garage sale a few months ago. My son (now 18 months) really enjoys it and loves to press the button and make the balls fly out. Like other reviewers stated, it IS loud and somewhat annoying. But the real downside is that my curious tot likes to substitute other items for the balls. So we've had chocolate chip cookies, socks, bouncey balls, markers, wooden blocks, and, worst of all, those round Crayola ta-doodle markers shoved down inside the tubes. Once there is a blockage, it's just about impossible to get it out around all of those curves in the tubes. The top of the toy (the slide) does pop off--which helps some--but the bottom half is glued together and doesn't open up to retrieve stuck items. We have literally spent HOURS trying to get ta-doodles out of there. TIP: We've tried everything...the best technique for getting items unstuck is to put a bunch of balls that easily fit through the pipes into one side and shove hard to use them to squeeze the stuck item up through the other side. Lubricating the stuck item by dripping vegetable oil down on it also helps.
Bottom line--if your child loves to stick objects down holes, this probably isn't the best choice for your household unless you plan to supervise its use constantly. It is a fun and entertaining toy, though!
Unbelievably Entertaining November 10, 2009 M. Woodward (WY United States) My 1 year loves this toy. She knows exactly how to get it going and she always smiles and gets excited when the music starts and the balls start moving. This is the only toy I know of that entertains my child this well. Well worth the money.
So much fun! November 9, 2009 AnnN (PA) This toy is just fun, fun, fun! This is the second time I have purchased this toy for someone. It is a hit and really keeps the kids busy ...and it's even fun for the adults too! I have to admit to playing this with the kids. The only con is that there is no volume control and it is kind of loud, but worth it.
