Discontinued. Now using same formula from Butler. November 15, 2009 Lifestyles (Fountain Hills, AZ USA) The formula for Synovi G3 worked wonders on my 10 year olds. When it was discontinued my Vet found the same formula for the dogs. Butler S3 Soft Chews. My dogs did not notice the change. We call out "BROWNIES" and the dogs come running.
The dogs think they are a wonderful treat.
My Dog Loves Synovi G3 November 7, 2009 A. S. Perez (Pacific Northwest, USA) Synovi G3 soft chews were recommended to me by my vet when my 4 year old, 130 pound labrador mix began having joint pain and stiffness. While Synovi hasn't been a complete cure for my dog, it has certainly helped. And he loves this stuff. He prefers getting his Synovi over many of the treats that we've purchased for him over the years. He goes over to the Synovi bucket and begs for it.
I feel terrible that they will no longer produce this product, as like me, it appears from most of the reviews found here that it is a popular, and helpful product. I'm not sure what we'll use as a replacement product. I just hope we can find something that my dog likes as well, as ultimately, he's the one that has to take it, and he's the one that benefits. I know that the last company I purchased Synovi from suggested Joint Max. Looking at it's ingredients, we may give this a try. But we're hopefull that whatever forced Synovi to fail inspection is corrected and that this product will be back on the market soon. As we give it a resounding 5 stars.
great item-but not sure about buying it again online November 3, 2009 Dog Lover (Bonney Lake, Washington USA) I love this product. Have been using it for years for my pug. Had trouble finding it and wanted to use it on our new puppies also. Found it on Amazon and was very happy but when I received it the shelf life was only 60 days. Thank goodness I have 3 dogs that can use it otherwise it would go out of code before I finished it. Never thought about the code date when I purchased it. Would never again buy it through Amazon unless the code dates could be told at time of purchase. BUT I love the item.
Arthritis and Joint Med Order October 20, 2009 M. Bernay (Raleigh, NC) This is very cut and dried. They sold me a nearly expired product. The Synovi G3 expires 12/09!! No wonder they can reduce price.
Product has been discontinued October 19, 2009 K. Hagerty Product was shipped quickly, but since ordering I have learned that the product has been discontinued by the manufacturer because the FDA did not approve it. They have a replacement product instead.
