From the supplier: The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is no longer considered as one of the country's most prestigious newspapers. Although critics concede that the Post remains a good newspaper, it is ranked way below regional dailies such as the San Jose Mercury News, the Miami Herald, the Dallas Morning News, the Boston Globe and the Chicago Tribune. Despite having lost some of its prestige, the newspaper's profits have increased from $10.5 million in 1990 to $29.4 million in 1994.
