Customer Reviews:
5 out of 5 stars Ethics are involved in every sort of business   September 4, 2008
Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA)
3 out of 3 found this review helpful

Ethics are involved in every sort of business, regardless of what the goods or services being offered to the public maybe. Because it involves working with canines, author Jim Barry justifiably asserts that something as simple (and as complex) as dog training especially requires a firm foundation of ethics. "The Ethical Dog Trainer: A Practical Guide for Canine Professionals" is an informed and informative guide to ethics regarding this specialized profession. "The Ethical Dog Trainer" is a must for anyone considering this profession or is in it and needs a discussion of what is right and wrong in this field, especially when it is inevitable that a dog trainer must cope with such ethical decisions as dealing with an abusive client who will not treat their dog right. "The Ethical Dog Trainer" should be a part of every professional and community library Pets/Wildlife reference collection in general -- and Canine Care and Training supplemental reading list in particular.
