This book was so much fun that I ripped open the box, sat down and read it with the packaging material right next to me on the couch. My wife got a little annoyed because I kept interrupting what she was doing to read parts of it to her! Now my teenage son has confiscated the book, and I don't know where he put it! It's good enough that I may just buy another copy to keep at the office.

I must admit to being a huge dog lover, so that might sway my opinion, but any book that can make me smile as much as this one did is a keeper. This was something totally unexpected from Dean Koontz, whose work I tend to enjoy. I loved the simple format as it made for a quick read. Can't wait to check out Trixie's other titles. This book is being given to all my dog loving friends as a gift this coming holiday season. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Got to go get a cookie now. (You'll have to read it to understand that bit)

I love this book. The writing is in "dog speak" similar to Life is Good!: Lessons in Joyful Living. However, this book has more meat to it and if you really read the underlying message of how to deal with life like a dog, you will realize how poignant this book is.
Although this book was written after Trixie's death, I would have loved to different see pictures of Trixie throughout the text either surrounded by clouds to indicate she is in heaven or with a halo.
However, I love "Bliss to You..." because it teaches you to see the world from a dog's point of view--which is a very good way to look at it. For instance, live for now not the future.
Another plus of the book is that all the proceeds from its sale are donated to Canine Companions for Indpendence which is the organization that Trixie was adopted from.
