Product Description Louise explains how limiting beliefs and ideas are often the cause of illness, and how you can change your thinking...and improve the quality of your life.
Amazon.com Review If you haven't seen Hay House's Lifestyles series of gorgeous gift books, there is no better way to acquaint yourself than with publisher/author Louise Hay's You Can Heal Your Life. A bestseller for many years, You Can Heal Your Life has been republished with bright, beautiful illustrations in full, living color and exquisite typography--each and every page is a work of art by artist Joan Perrin Falquet. The timeless message of the book is that we are each responsible for our own reality and "dis-ease." Hay believes we make ourselves ill by having thoughts of self-hatred. She includes a directory of ailments and emotional causes for each with a corresponding affirmation to help overcome the illness. For example, the probable cause of multiple sclerosis is "mental hardness, hard-heartedness, iron will, and inflexibility." The healing "thought pattern" would be: "By choosing loving, joyous thoughts, I created a loving joyous world. I am safe and free." --P. Randall Cohan

ATTENTION ALL HALFWITS AND IMBECILES ! November 11, 2009 Kosto Barry Granlund (New York, NY) I see there are about 20 to 30 negative, one-star reviews about this woman's books - most of these are written by halfwits and run-of-the-mill imbeciles who know absolutely NOTHING about the concepts these books contain. These halfwits and imbeciles are what make the trillion-dollar per year, "disease for dollars" / "profit from misery" medical/pharmaceutical edific run happily along. They're also responsible for the vet business of "medicating" animals to mimmick their masters going profitably along as well.
SO PAY ATTENTION ALL YOU CRETINS! Go pick up the DVD presentation of "The Biology of Belief" by Dr. Bruce Lipton PhD. WATCH IT. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO IT - ALL OF IT!!!! And you'll soon see that Ms. Hay was way ahead of her time with these books of her's. Lipton is a CELLULAR BIOLOGIST who taught at two universities and who has had papers published in the most important medical and science magazines in the world AND HIS WORK AND CONCLUSIONS ABSOLUTELY BACK UP WHAT HAY SAYS !
Furthermore, you idiots should also read the SETH books - ALL OF THEM - and you'll see that Jane Roberts and her "entity" SETH were dead on with their information BACK IN THE LATE 1960's - as it is now being confirmed by people like Bruce Lipton and many others.
So, wake up and get out of your stone age thinking patterns. You'll learn a lot and your life will change for the better.....idiots!
Awesome Book November 5, 2009 Michelle L. Britt (Wilmington, NC United States) I consult this book for everything. The information and reasoning for illness is so accurate. Great tool for life! :)
I received what I wanted on time! October 30, 2009 Grace Barr (USA)
I am totally pleased with my purchase. It was here in a few days. The condition of my book was excellent, like new. I have no complaints. I'm happy!
Thanks!
A wonderfully wise and truly health centered book! October 25, 2009 Rain (San Diego, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Louise L. Hay is the walking evidence of her teachings; she has healed her own life;
being a victim of rape at the age of five, surviving a loveless childhood,
brutal men and abusive relationships, a divorce and a cancer verdict;
she healed her own life and soul and shares her wisom in this wonderfully wise and deeply compassionate book.
Dangerous thought patterns create poisonous and poisoned bodies and dis-eases,
just as if we eat poisonous food our bodies will suffer,
but we can change the destructive thought patterns and create healthy bodies.
It is a matter of will power and self-love; knowledge and self-knowledge.
What we believe is what we get, thoughts attract similar thoughts. Her truth is, of course both very simple
and the opposite of simple. Change is never easy even if it is necessary
But as I said initially; Louise L. Hay is a walking eighty something example of the truth of her own
teachings.
I strongly recommend this book!

How to discover self-love and live a truly healthy life October 24, 2009 L. Holm 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Louise L. Hay is the living evidence of her own teachings; she has healed her own life.
She recovered from a horrible childhood; being unloved, and a child victim of sexual abuse (rape),
as an adult she went through a divorce when she had finally started to trust life, and later in life she self-treated her own cancer and recovered completely with a new and healthier diet and different thought patterns; all according to her own teachings and discoveries...
I watched Louise L. Hay on Oprah Winphrey show and was immediately impressed with the beauty and poise of the 80 year-young woman talking, laughing, being so present, so relaxed, so happy, so glowing.
At 75, this amazing woman started taking yoga lessons, and at 76 she took up ball-room dancing,
and she tells us that she is looking forward to the next 20 interesting years!
What a wonderful role model this woman is to all of us!
Her life story could fill three movies; all fascinating, deeply moving.
Her book is her testament.
It is simple and wise, kind but ... unbending.
According to Louise L. Hay and many sage individuals from ancient days, the body speaks to us and it tells us why we are in pain or why we suffer from a certain particular dis-ease.
Thoughs can be poisonous, and just like food they can poison not only our lives and mental health but our bodies.
Change the way you think and your life will change, too.
Fear and anger expressed through different forms of thought patterns contribute to dis-eases.
There is so much potential in all of us and it is never too late!
Louise L.Hay gives examples and provides excersises for self-healing.
This is a book that has healed so many lives, and that is why is it remains a bestseller.
I strongly recommend it!
