| Customer Reviews: Great Book February 24, 2009 N. Taylor (Mason MI) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I purchased this book in preperation for my new bird dog. I have had a bird dog in the past that I trained without any help, and he definately had some flaws. This book hit the spots that I missed with my last dog and gave me some good advice about working with quartering. (something that my late dog struggled with.)
I look forward to trying out a few of the authors methods.

I recommend it September 23, 2008 E. Thompson 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Good, no-nonsense training book for pointing dog owners. Takes you from pup almost thru finished dog. There really aren't any (pointing) dog training books out there like this. I enjoyed it a lot. Easy read.
