1 out of 5 stars MORE THAN ONE DOG? THIS BOOK WON'T HELP YOU.   May 4, 2002

This book is essentially a manual for new dog owners who adopt a second dog. It doesn't deal with the problems that arise from a true multiple dog household, such as deciding which dog is having housebreaking problems, avoiding and breaking up dogfights, establishing pack order, and feeding issues. I had hoped for advice on dealing with injured or sick dogs and how to protect them from the other dogs in the house. I have 5 dogs and I was disappointed in this book.
