I read this book before we adopted our Bernese Mountain Dog. It helped me prepare myself and my family for the transition before we brought puppy home.It also help in chosing a puppy and is now helping raise her.

If you can only buy one book about puppies, this is it. I keep going back to it everytime something new comes up and I am not sure how to deal with it...puppies are great but require an incredible amount of patience and guidance.
