I didn't have many choices for products because I needed a non-mounting gate for an extra large opening. I think I had 2 choices. I obviously chose this gate and do not regret it! It is a great sturdy gate. It is easy to operate and the door closes automatically. If I could add or change anything it would be the ability to keep the door open via a lock or something else. Nothing major. I am very happy with this purchase, worth the money.

I've been looking for a gate that is sturdy enough to keep my 1yr old Chihuahua out of the dinning room. I also wanted it to mount to the wall "without" using screws. I just happend to come across this gate while searching the net and I could not be happier. It's sturdy, safe and actually looks really nice in the entry,I'm pleasantly surprised. I had to get an extra extension F172W to fit the 60" space, it fits 100% perfect! So, for those of you who are looking to keep your pet out of a room, I recommend this gate.

This product is perfectly designed for people that have a 42 1/2 inch wide stairwell. We bought several other gates and they were either too wide or not wide enough. This gate fits very well in the opening with the small extension included. We have no worries that our daughter will be able to get through this very well designed gate.

Very easy to install. Sturdy and will keep my son from climbing up the stairs. Easy to open going up and down the stairs. We were looking for a gate that fit underneath our stair rail. Since we had to place it on the first step, it was tricky finding one that fit and worked well. This one did! Worth the $. We have a mounted gate at the top of the stairwell, but I find that this one is more secure.
