I ordered this product in a different brand before this one and I was extremely disappointed with it. I decided to try this brand out and I couldn't be more pleased! It is still going strong after a couple months when the other one broke in a day. The spray definitely gets the dog's attention instead of a little poof the dog ignores. The dogs have picked up on the idea of the collar and have quieted down. The collar arrived very fast (I believe in a couple days) and I only had standard shipping. I would definitely buy this again!

I tried it and followed the directions. She was fine wearing the collar and it didn't bug her, she never barks unless she's in her crate. Once she's in her crate she starts whining and eventually starts barking. When the collar starts spraying it just makes her go crazier and barks louder. It was so bad it always ran out quick. Its a good idea, it just didn't work for my puppy.
I docked another star because I had to email the seller to ask about tracking and was told item hadn't shipped yet. They printed the order after I had emailed them a week after ordering the item. A day or two later I received an email saying that the reason for the delay was it had been on back-order. I can understand backordered items, but to have not received one email within the week regarding the issue is poor customer service.

The collar is a little too sensitive as it goes off if the dog sneezes or gags, and that is sad. Also, I orderd the "scentless" model, but the citronella smell is very strong and gives me a headache. However, it seems to have discouraged one of our dogs from barking, the other doesn't seem to care either way.

It's a miracle! We have a 17 month old Puggle who is a handful to say the least. In fact, she could be a nightmare! We had anonymous complants from our neighbors citing city ordinances concerning 'dog barking.' We were at our wits end with her. We were considering going to the city pound. This dog would bark at the wind, the ants in the crack of the concrete, blowing leaves and the moles in the ground. She would catch sight of a neighbor who would be walking 500 feet away on the other street and still bark at the neighbor. She was nuisance to say the least.
In a passing conservation, my vet told me about a barking collar a few years ago that she used with her dogs. Well, I was desperate. I spent a lot of time looking at the various collars and did not want to shock her. This collar had the best review, so I thought I would give it a try. It works! I put the collar on her and with the first bark it sprayed her. She jumped in the air and had this shocked look on her cute little face. She barked again, it sprayed again. It took 5 times for her to get the hint. Now, we have peace and quiet when she is outside. We actually get concerned and check on her often because it is so quiet when she wears the collars.
We did forget one day to put it on her and she started barking again. She is collar dependent and that is okay with us! It works when she wears it and the power button doesn't have to be on. I can't ask for anything more! We are happy campers.

I've tried other citronella bark collars and have had 3 out of 3 fail within weeks of purchase. This one works great - although my Dalmation has figured out how softly he can bark and not have the thing go off. ;-) No worries, though, a few sweet, soft "ruff"s and then he's done. This brand came recommended to me by co-workers and I've been very happy with it.
