great leash- when leash is out and dog moves torward you the leash is automatically drawn in, unlike cheap leashes. only problem I could see is if a person were very small or weak- its rather heavy-but I love it. Ray and Carol

While I don't like to spend $30 on a dog leash, this is totally worth every penny! I've always owned the 15 foot versions, and when you want to let your dog run and enjoy himself at a on-leash event/park, you have to run around with him....but with this 23' leash, it makes a world of a difference, it's awesome!
Solid construction, highly recommended. Only down side is it weighs a couple pounds, so it's a little heavier than the 15' versions, but not heavy enough to be a problem to 99% of people. If you can hold a bag of groceries, you can hold this.
Large Size Perfect For My 50lb Dog November 2, 2009

I have a 50lb German Shepherd mix and I was not sure if I should go with the medium size or large size. I went with the large size that has the tape lease, and it works great with my dog. She is pretty strong, so I'm glad I got the large size. Plus, I am a tall guy with pretty big hands so having the nice huge handle is great for me. I was a little worried the leash would be too heavy and clumsy in the large size, but I find it be fairly lightweight and a pleasure to use. Having the larger size is also nice since I can use it with friends' big dogs too. If you are like me and have a medium size dog, you may prefer the large size like I did.

I have a 10 month old lab and I love walking him on this leash. It is big strong and sturdy and I feel very confident with him on the leash (the tape reels in and out nicely). I can keep my little pup next to me or let him roam free while I stay on the dry sidewalk. I would highly recommend this leash if you have a large dog.

Purchased this one to replace the one that was misplaced. This is for the garage,so when needed we do not have to walk all the way up to the house. Used retractable leads forever. They are much better than a standard type. Highly recommend them. (and dog does, too)
